IDS Export & Revit-Plugin

Our IDS export and Revit plugin are now available in LastBIM 2.0!

Due to the huge structural changes in LastBIM 2.0, also the IDS export and our plugin needed some reworking. We are very happy that we are done with this now so you can finally use the requirements from the LastBIM 2.0 platform for the actual attribution and model checking in your projects.

⬇️ IDS Export

The IDS export enables you to exchange the requirements from LastBIM in an open format to enable everyone to check their model quality according to your requirements.

When exporting the IDS file you can filter by information levels and disciplines to get only those requirements that you want to check with this IDS file.

🧩 Revit Plugin

The Revit plugin allows you to synchronize the requirements from the platform directly with Revit - no export and import or manual configuration in Revit for the attribution needed.

This ensures that every property ends up in the BIM model as required, including the correct naming, correct datatype, a consistent use of values etc.

Though, creating a plugin for Revit isn’t easy. There might still be some issues that we didn’t uncover during our quality assurance process, since we are not as experienced Revit users as you are.
