Excel Import of Catalogs now available!

We're really excited to finally roll out one of the most requested features by all of you: the Excel Import for creating catalogs. This feature lets you bring all your existing requirements from Excel files into LastBIM in just a few minutes.

We've worked hard to make this import as flexible as possible, using all the insights we've gathered from the dozens of Excel files you've shared with us over the past months:

• The name or order of the columns does not matter!

• Different layout options to choose from based on the most popular layouts.

• Almost no mandatory fields, so you can just import what you have.

But also we cannot work magic. There might still be some adjustments in your Excel file necessary due to the variety that is possible in Excel. For this, we already started a collection of tips and tricks including Excel formulas to copy & paste here: Tips for the Excel Import
