💡 New: Free Licenses for Working Groups & Public Standards
Starting now, we’re offering free licenses for developing information requirements in working groups (e.g. buildingSMART) or for public standards.
Our goal is to help those teams to move away from Excel and instead collaborate centrally and platform-based, simplifying the process of creating, managing, and distributing standardized requirements via LastBIM, IDS, IFC Studio, or our plugins.
If you’re part of a working group and want to introduce LastBIM, feel free to reach out so we can coordinate the details!
📆 Next week: Meet us at Digitalbau in Cologne
From March 24–26, the Digitalbau trade fair will take place in Cologne, and we’ll be there with our own booth! We’d love for you to stop by our Booth 8.457/A so we can chat in person.
Our co-founder Antonia will also be speaking:
March 24, 2:45 PM – Startup Stage: Short expert talk on the data process from information needs to attributed models.
March 25, 12:30 PM – Neo Stage (BDBau Panel): Discussion on the benefits of digital process chains.
We look forward to seeing you there!
📢 2nd Call: Your Feedback Matters!
A few weeks ago, we launched a short survey and have already received valuable feedback from some of you — thank you!
We’d love to hear from even more of you. Your input helps us improve usability and value, and it only takes 1–2 minutes (depending on how detailed you’d like to be).
🏥 Recap: buildingSMART Thematic Day on Hospital Construction
Last week, we attended the buildingSMART Thematic Day on BIM and Med-IT in Hospital Planning, Construction, and Operation in Fulda. Among other topics, the KIA 2.0 (Hospital Information Requirements) were presented.
Currently, KIA 2.0 primarily covers specific use cases for hospital projects. With KIA 3.0, these will be expanded to include concrete information requirements (attribution requirements).
If you have experience with information requirements in hospital construction projects, you can join the buildingSMART Hospital Construction Working Group to contribute to the development.
