Quality of Life Changes & Revit Improvements

In this update, we’ve focused on improving the attribution workflow in Revit by introducing some new plugin features for more control and comfort.

🔎 Synchronization Overview

When synchronizing the parameters in Revit, you will now get an overview of what the synchronization will do to the parameters in your project. This includes seeing whether a new parameter will be created or if an existing parameter will be updated due to differences in name, data type, or binding (type vs. instance) from the platform's parameter definition.

📍 Pin Properties for Attribution

You want to see the most important information right away? With our new “Pin Property” feature, you can pin your most important properties to keep them at the top of your attribution view.

To try this function just hover above the top right corner of the input field of the property that you want to pin.

📂 Group Properties for Attribution

If you want to organize the properties for the attribution even more, you can additionally group the classifying properties or group the properties by property group.

You find this functionality in the tool box next to your profile menu.

📃 Value Suggestions

You can now predefine a list of suggested values for model authors to choose from, while still allowing them the flexibility to add custom values during attribution.

To use suggestions in the attribution add a value list to a property on the platform and set the list type on “suggestion”.
